As campers we’re more conscious than most about the importance of looking after the planet. After all, we spend a lot of our time in the natural world, and sometimes the impact humans have on the environment is, sadly, all too apparent. In the past, the outdoor industry as a whole could have been criticised for not being more eco-friendly in the materials and manufacturing techniques it used. But thankfully that’s changing, and Vango is one brand that has vowed to tackle the issue.

The Vango Aether Air 450XL is a four-man inflatable tent within the new Earth Collection. It features Sentinel Eco fabric, which is made from recycled single-use plastics. The equivalent of more than 150 discarded drinks bottles goes into each one of these tents, so the benefits to the environment are obvious. The benefits to campers are just as obvious… a key feature is the Villa Construction, which provides greater head height and more internal space, allowing you to use the area right up against the tent walls.

The pre-attached front extension provides an area that could be used for cooking or simply as an extension of the inner living space. The large front door can be fully rolled back to take advantage of the good weather and allow air flow, or zipped up when more shelter is required. The living area is spacious and the king-sized Nightfall bedrooms are designed to reduce early morning light and let you sleep longer.

Overall this is an excellent family tent in his own right as well as helping protect the planet for future generations of campers to enjoy.
