WHAT’S IT LIKE?
Over the last quarter of a century, Outwell’s designers have done as much as anyone, and more than most, to create the version of family camping we know today. Many of the features that are now considered standard in tents and accessories started life on a sketchpad in Denmark. Rarely a year passes without at least one major new innovation being introduced and, as the company celebrates its 25^th birthday, that creative spirit is as strong as ever.

The new Hartsdale 6PA is a perfect example. Not only is it a bright and airy tunnel tent that comfortably sleeps up to six, but it is absolutely jam-packed with brand new features. Without doubt, our favourite is the Quick & Quiet bedroom doors, that use sewn-in magnetic strips to open silently and magically close behind you. Then there’s the new Wing Lounge, a large side-annexe that provides even more living space. Think of it as a conservatory for your tent – it can be used for seating, as a kid’s den or simply as an extra storage area. The Hartsdale is also fitted with the new HookTrack hanging system.

So that’s the brand-new stuff, but it doesn’t end there. The built-in front canopy provides extra outdoor living space, the darkened bedrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, a side door gives flexible access and inner-tent cable entry ports let you run electric hook-up into the bedrooms. Add in all the “Outwell DNA” features – luminous guylines, mesh storage pockets, big tinted windows, quality materials, the Easy Pegging System, etc – and you have a really outstanding package.
