WHO’S IT FOR?
Ideal as a touring tent for couples or for festival camping

WHAT’S IT LIKE?
As a rule, the less you pay for your tent, the lower quality it is. It makes sense – something has to give and usually it’s the quality of material and the features that takes the hit. The Cloud 3 by Outwell bucks that trend.  This is a sturdy dome tent for three (more comfortable for two), that you can pick up for less than £120 but feels far more expensive. At the front, there’s a storage porch with a detachable bathtub groundsheet, leading to the sleeping area.  A rear entrance also allows easy access to the inner tent. Outwell’s Wind Guard System is designed to provide maximum stability in strong winds by bracing the tent flysheet to the poles.  Ventilation at the rear allows good airflow to tackle condensation and cool the tent in warm temperatures.Other features include mesh storage pockets, a lantern hanging system, thermo-reflective coating for temperature regulation and  luminous guylines.

WHAT’S GOOD?
Front and rear doors make access easy. It’s quick and easy to pitch and good value for a tent of this quality. Ventilation is excellent throughout.

WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED?
Living space in the front porch area is limited.
