WHAT’S IT LIKE?
There are lots of reasons to love this tent. The beautiful polycotton flysheet is one, the large front porch area is another. Then there’s the massive living area, the spacious, darkened bedrooms, the tinted PVC windows, the storm straps and the skylights.

But what we love most about it is the side bedroom annexe, that provides even more useful space, without increasing the overall footprint of the tent. Plenty of tents have small rooms jutting out from the side that are handy for storage or as toilet compartments but this is the first that we’re aware of that extends that room to the back of the tent making it useable as a bedroom.

It’s perfect for older kids, or even grandparents, who want a bit of privacy. If you prefer, the darkened inner can be removed to create a large utility room – maybe somewhere for the kids to play on rainy days or a walk-in dressing room.

Either way it’s a clever use of space. And the use of space is the one of the most impressive things about this superb tent. The front porch – with a main door that can be fully opened plus mesh ventilation panels – is roomy enough to be used as a fully functioning kitchen and the living room is also large, bright and airy, thanks to the angled beams, numerous low-level vents, mesh-backed doors and large windows.

The main bedroom is divided into three two-berth pods, with dividers that can be zipped out to create larger spaces. It has the same darkened material as the side room, designed to stop early morning sunshine disturbing your sleep.

WHAT’S GOOD?
The side bedroom annexe; lots of living space including large front porch; large tinted windows; ventilation panels in the front porch for cooking
