WHAT’S IT LIKE?
This is one of the lowest priced inflatable family tents outside the budget supermarkets, currently on sale for under £300, exclusively at Blacks and Millets stores. And with the tent boasting decent living space, good quality materials and plenty of handy features, it’s a great option compared to similarly-priced models on sale from bargain-basement outlets.

To give you some idea of the quality you’re getting here, not only is the hydrostatic head waterproof rating 4,000mm, but the tent was tested at a toe-numbing -20 deg C! The Air 400 is a good-sized tent for two or three campers, with lots for your money. The large front door is fitted with a mesh backing and provides excellent ventilation in hot weather. The PVC windows make the living area bright and the sewn-in groundsheet keeps the elements – and bugs – at bay.

The two darkened, double bedrooms at the rear have mesh panels on the doors and at the back to help airflow and the fabric divider can be removed to create one large room. Other handy features include storage pockets and a cable entry port. Overall this is a tent where the price has been kept to a minimum without lowering quality.

WHAT’S GOOD?
The price is excellent – currently available online for £299. Very good quality for an entry level weekend tent, especially compared to cheapo supermarket competitors.
