KEY FEATURES

  • Huge living space
  • Front porch area
  • Large mesh-backed door
  • Side rain canopy
  • 6,000mm hydrostatic head

PITCHING
It’s big and bulky so you’ll probably need a couple of people to pitch it, but it’s not complicated and with a bit of effort you could put it up on your own.

LIVING
This tent definitely falls into the “good value” category but it’s certainly not budget quality. It’s a lovely looking tent – based on the design of Berghaus’s Mera Peak jacket fact fans – with loads of space for living and the sort of features you’d expect from a more expensive model. Take a look at what you get for your money: a huge living space, a front porch area, a side canopy and tons of storage.

SLEEPING
The three spacious double bedrooms are separated by zip dividers have loads of ventilation, including mesh panels on the doors. Other features include storage pockets and darkened material.

OUR VIEW
Everyone loves a bargain, and when it comes to getting bang for your buck it doesn’t get a lot better than this. The Berghaus Air 6XL is an excellent large, inflatable family tent. But when you consider that, at £749 (exclusively from Black’s and Millets stores), it costs about half the price of comparable models from big-name rivals, it’s even more appealing. This is campsite luxury at an affordable price – great value for what is a great tent.
