Ready Camp glamping network expanded

20dc8cbc-1018-473f-b74b-2bb18cd37200

Luxury glamping brand Ready Camp is being introduced at nine new locations across the UK in 2017 to meet surging demand.

Ready Camp was launched by the Camping And Caravanning Club in 2014, aimed at adventurous young families, and couples who don’t want the hassle of pitching a tent.

The new locations for 2017 are:

  • Minehead, Somerset
  • Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire
  • Conkers, Derbyshire
  • Dartmouth, Devon
  • Crowborough, East Sussex
  • Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire
  • Theobalds Park, Hertfordshire
  • Cannock Chase, Staffordshire
  • Hereford

Find out more about Ready Camp and other luxury camping in the new issue of Glamping magazine, which goes on sale on 2 February 2017. Keep an eye on www.outandaboutlive.co.uk for more details.

The safari tent accommodation is for up to six people, and comes fully furnished with a double bed, triple bunk bed and single stow-away bed. There’s also a kitchen – with a fridge, microwave and hob – basic cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, a sofa, dining table and chairs, a lockable storage cabinet, electric sockets and lights.

Ready Camp is now in 38 locations on Camping and Caravanning Club sites across the UK, with a total of more than 180 glamping tents. Each tent is permanently pitched on site, and comes equipped with proper beds, comfy seating and a dedicated kitchen area. Holidays costs from £25 per tent, per night, in low season.

Bob Hill, the Club’s sites director, said: “Ready Camp continues to deliver and exceed the expectations of those who want a comfortable and hassle-free camping trip without the need to hitch up a caravan or pitch their own tent.

“New for 2017 are some great locations that afford families quality time away to take on activities as diverse as cycle rides at Cannock Chase, to fun at the beach in the south west at Minehead and Dartmouth.”
