Best Lightweight Sleeping Bag
Vango Mantis Planet
The new Vango Mantis Planet is a lightweight sleeping bag designed for backpacking in warmer temperatures either at home or abroad. Made from ripstop nylon, the bag weighs under 1kg and the pack can be compressed small to easily fit in your rucksack. The Mantis Planet is fitted with mosquito nets at the head and foot, to keeps midges, mosquitos and other biting bugs away, without reducing your comfort levels after a day on the hills.
Vango’s ThermX tech features aluminised fabric layers placed around specific areas in the bag to reflect body heat, with the aim of increasing overall warmth and heat retention where you need it.
The full wrap-around zip allows you to convert the bag into a large quilt for more space.
