Vango tents 2018

f4de3049-dd92-4ecf-ba87-71af007d2949

Vango was founded in 1966 with the first factory situated in the historic shipbuilding heart of Glasgow, Govan. The brand name is an anagram of the area and is synonymous with quality, innovation and design.

For over five decades Vango have pioneered some of the most revolutionary concepts in the outdoor industry. From the first use of an ‘A’ pole and integrated flysheet in the ‘60s to the introduction of the game-changing AirBeam technology in 2011, and the company continues to push the boundaries.

The all new Vango 2018 tent collection comes with an array of new features such as Sky Track II, Emperor-sized bedrooms, Sky Storage and expandable tent bags for ease of packing.

In addition to these technical innovations, the team at Vango has introduced a new collection aimed at the novice camper. After extensive research and feedback, Vango will debut the Experience collection this year. The aim is to encourage first-time campers to explore the great outdoors. One such tent within the collection is the Ashton, a 4-poled tunnel tent with pre-attached front extension and Vango Protex flysheet.

The Experience range comes with key features as standard; Diamond Clear windows, TBS II (Tension Band System) and lights-out inners. This is a new collection for beginners, helping them ‘Experience’ the wonders of the great outdoors

The Rosewood is the epitome of boutique glamping. Featuring Vango’s ProTex TC polycotton fabric, it offers a degree of climate control – keeping inside cool when the sun is shining and vice versa. This tipi style tent utilises the unique design of a steel and alloy pole tied arch system meaning there is no central pole giving you more internal space! This increased internal space provides enough room to sleep up to 6 people.

The Santo, a finalist in the Outdoor Industry Association awards, combines AirBeam technology and small pack size for the perfect, quick pitch, weekend tent. The Santo has two king-sized bedrooms allowing for a spacious and comfortable sleep for up to 4 people and its pre-angled beams create more internal space throughout.

The brand-new Serenity is packed full of features for that luxury camping experience.  A built-in front awning provides a bright and airy conservatory-style space, while a unique rear door offers flexibility and additional storage space. The Serenity uses AirBeam SuperBeams which are 30% larger than the original AirBeams and offer more structure and stability. The tent sleeps up to six people in two Super King bedrooms and in an additional bedroom which is attached using the SkyTrack system.
