SHOWCASE

Airville 6SA

For 25 years Outwell has been at the forefront of family camping innovation, and two-and-a-half decades since the first tent rolled off the production line, the Danish company shows no signs of letting up.

The Airville 6SA is a brilliant new addition to the Outwell range, packed with groundbreaking new features designed to improve your camping life.

A six-berth inflatable tent, the Airville 6SA has an enclosed front area for sheltered outdoor living, a central living space and a sleeping section at the rear. The Gothic-style, angled tubes ensure floorspace and headroom are maximised and the new Wing Lounge – a large side-annexe – provides even more living space without extending the length of the tent.

The Airville is also fitted with the new HookTrack System that allows lights and small items to be hung from the inside of the tent where required.

However, our favourite new feature on the Airville has to be the Quick & Quiet bedroom doors that open silently and automatically close behind you, using sewn-in magnetic strips. No more need for opening and closing zips when leaving the bedroom during the night!

The spacious Ambassador Master Bedrooms are darkened to reduce light in the morning and a bedroom cable port lets you use lights and tablets, etc.

Like all tents in Outwell’s Superior range, the Airville uses top-quality Outtex 6000 Pro fabric and the Outwell Power Air inflation system.

With safety in mind, the tent has luminous guylines and a drop-down groundsheet at the front door. Other features include excellent ventilation, side mesh panels with rain protection, tinted windows and zip-up curtains. Overall, a magnificent family tent.

Parkdale 6PA

For flexible camping, the Parkdale 6PA is a great option for families. It offers three separate zones – a front wet room, living area and bedroom – and some superb new features, including the Quick & Quiet bedroom doors and the neat HookTrack System.

The wet room can be used as a kitchen, for storage or simply as an additional sheltered living area. Entry is via the large front door, which features a double zip for full opening and a mesh panel behind for insect-free ventilation. It also has the Easy Access System that allows the groundsheet to lie flush with the ground, preventing a trip hazard. The D-shape doors safely fold and are tucked to one side when not in use.

The spacious living area enjoys good ventilation from the mesh panels which sit at the bottom of the tinted windows and there is also a side door for alternative access.

The Premier Bedrooms have plenty of room for furniture and are darkened to reduce light for a good night’s sleep. The new Quick & Quiet magnetic door strips allow for silent opening and an inner cable port means you can use the electric hook-up in the bedroom.

Stone Lake 7ATC

We loved the Stone Lake 7ATC when it was launched last year. And the introduction of a raft of new features makes the 2020 version even better.

With loads of space and comfort for up to seven people, the Stone Lake is a huge family tent, ideal for long, lazy summer holidays. But not only that, with its sleek lines, blue and silver colour scheme and Gothic-arch shape, it looks simply stunning. The technical cotton flysheet takes you back to traditional camping values, but with all the modern-day attributes to make camping more comfortable.

The tent has three Premier-sized darkened bedrooms and is fitted with the new Outwell Quick & Quiet inner door system. The pre-shaped air tubes provide ample headroom and maximise floorspace in the living area and the large tinted windows create a light, airy feel. An additional side door with mesh panel backing provides good ventilation while keeping out bugs.

The fold-flat groundsheet at the door is designed to prevent tripping and we love the cable entry points on the inner tent. This is all about bringing the outdoors inside, and you can fully open the front to enjoy the view.

The front section has a detachable tub-style groundsheet plus double zips on the main door that allow full front opening and the option to create a veranda set-up.
