Gear review: Bottleshower Wash Kit

373db479-78ec-4fe7-b474-bab135cb397d

We all know plastic bottles are a Bad Thing but they do have their uses. With the addition of this little gadget, you can turn a water or soft drinks container into an outdoor shower. Hang it from a tree using the harness and you have your own personal shower for times when facilities aren’t available – wild camping trips, bikepacking expeditions, festivals or even trips to the beach. Using a 1.5litre bottle, we timed it as providing two-and-a-half minutes of shower time, which is perfectly sufficient for a quick clean on the move. The Bottleshower Wash Kit contains two heads, one for showering and one for washing hands and general cleaning and  a hanging harness for one to two litre bottles. Shower heads are also available for five litre bottles.
Expect to pay £10.99
