Coleman Tents 2021

f3b0c140-6140-4e5a-8d63-c2f5662aaac8

Highlights For 2021

  • Coleman will launch four new tent ranges in 2021; Castle Pines, Meadowood, Aspen and Vail, and these are available in different sizes to suit the needs of various campers.
  • A new, smaller four-berth tent joins the Weathermaster range – the Weathermaster 4 Air BlackOut. This retains all the features of the other models, including BlackOut Bedrooms and FastPitch Air technology but is perfect for those who want a smaller pack size.
  • While BlackOut Bedroom technology features heavily throughout the 2021 range, the new Aspen and Vail tents offer darkened bedrooms without the full BlackOut material, for those who prefer to wake up with the morning light.
  • Flexibility remains at the forefront, with changeable layouts allowing you to maximise the use of your living space. Accessories, including vestibules and carpets, are also available (sold separately) for new models, meaning you can enhance your camping experience and have your tent, your way.
  • The XXL bedrooms and full head height throughout make Coleman’s family tents a great choice for taller campers.
  • Comfort, convenience and safety remain paramount in the 2021 range, with easy-to-pitch constructions that will stand up to the elements, giving you more time to enjoy your camping trip.
  • UV Guard features across much of the range, providing SPF 50 sun protection.

Since 1901, we have helped generations enjoy the outdoors in comfort and this year is no different. For our 120th anniversary, we have pulled out all the stops to deliver four new tent ranges and a new, smaller Weathermaster Air tent. These new models join firm favourites to ensure that all campers can enjoy a great stay on the campsite with Coleman.

SHOWCASE

Castle Pines 4L BlackOut

The new Castle Pines 4L BlackOut family tent from Coleman is packed full of clever features that will help campers make the most of their camping holidays this year. This fibreglass poled tent features Coleman’s revolutionary BlackOut technology which blocks 99% of light from entering the XXL bedrooms, meaning you can have a luxurious lie-in on the campsite.

In contrast, the spacious living area is bathed in natural light thanks to the grey material on the roof and lantern attachment rings give multiple lighting options.

The zipped window covers and bedroom divider attachments are easy to adjust for privacy and flexible sleeping arrangements.

A rising sewn-in PE groundsheet and fully taped polyester flysheet, with an impressive hydrostatic head of 6,000mm, provides great water and bug proofing. An additional footprint and carpet is available (sold separately) for more protection and warmth underfoot – and storm straps help keep this sturdy structure grounded in high winds. There is also the option to add a vestibule (sold separately) to create an enclosed porch. This adds another weather-protected space for gear or for somewhere to sit and enjoy your surroundings.

Low ventilation near the windows and a full-length back vent aids temperature control and prevents condensation. The drop-down door at the front ensures barrier-free access, making it easier to enter and exit the tent, while ensuring accessibility for wheelchair users and pushchairs.

Plenty of storage is provided and the range is also available in a six-person version (Castle Pines 6L) and a smaller four-person version (Castle Pines 4) for those campers who don’t need such a large living area.

Weathermaster 4 Air BlackOut

A new addition to the Weathermaster range, the Weathermaster 4 Air BlackOut retains all the features campers loved last year but in a smaller size. This makes it perfect for couples or smaller families who want a high-spec, air-poled tent with a smaller pack size and lower weight.

As with the rest of the Weathermaster air-poled range, this tent features BlackOut Bedroom technology in the XXL bedrooms and FastPitch Air technology. This means one person can pitch this four-person tent by themselves, while the stable structure will withstand high winds. Storm straps help to further secure this tent in blustery weather and the fully taped, polyester flysheet has an improved hydrostatic head of 6,000mm to help keep you dry.

The sewn-in PE groundsheet keeps water and bugs out, while high and low ventilation (including a full-width back vent that can be accessed from inside the bedrooms) helps prevent condensation. Barrier-free access helps prevent tripping and multiple cable entries allow you to set up all the lights and appliances you need for a comfortable stay.

Octagon BlackOut

The Octagon is one of Coleman’s most instantly recognisable and popular tents. As this version has BlackOut Bedroom technology as well as 360° views, ample living space and an ingenious hinged door, it’s sure to become the accommodation of choice for many on their camping trips this year.

It’s possible to pitch this standout tent in less than 15 minutes, thanks to the intuitive colour-coded steel poles and sturdy self-supporting tent design. The Octagon BlackOut provides full head height too, so you can move freely throughout the tent, making it a great choice for those over 6ft.

The two doors, including a rigid hinged door, provide easy access in and out of the tent and can be opened along with the window covers on the other six sides of the tent to let in more light and improve ventilation. The fully taped flysheet has UV Guard sun protection and a 4,500mm hydrostatic head, so you’ll be protected whatever the weather, and fire-retardant fabrics and zipper stoppers provide added peace of mind.
