Be Part Of The Great Outdoors With Experience Freedom

Life is all about experiences and there’s nowhere better to experience life to the full than in the great outdoors.

But are you really taking advantage of everything this wonderful country has to offer? Or do you sometimes have the feeling you should be getting out there and doing more?

That’s exactly the message behind the Caravan and Motorhome Club’s new venture, Experience Freedom. It offers stylish yurts, luxury glamping units and cosy wooden camping pods, as well as camping and motorhome hire, all designed to make it easier than ever to have an outdoor adventure.

It’s been scientifically proven that immersing yourself in the natural world is good for your body and soul and it’s something everyone should be able to enjoy… even if the thought of roughing it fills you with dread. So anything that encourages people to experience the freedom of the outdoors has to be a good thing.

Glamping is camping with a makeover – a fantastic way to get away from it all and enjoy the pleasures of the outdoors without compromising on comfort. It’s for families, couples or groups of friends – basically anyone who wants to get close to nature without missing out on the luxuries of home.

With real beds, cosy duvets and comfortable furniture, glamping gives you the chance to experience a night under the stars at any time of the year. And that means you can discover the UK’s most amazing places, without having to give up all the comforts of home. You can experience adventure, experience the outdoors and, most of all, experience freedom.

Experience Freedom also gives you the chance totake advantage of a range of exciting events and experiences – but of course, if you’d rather just sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, you can do that too. Whether you want an action-packed adventure, a cosy night in watching your favourite movie or just quality time with your family, you can have it all.

From the far north of Scotland to the Cornish coast, Experience Freedom has 47 sites around the country where you can keep your creature comforts close at hand while exploring the great outdoors. You can stay in a stylish yurt in the heart of Kent, try luxury glamping in the Lake District or simply pack your tent and head out to camp in multiple sites set in stunning locations.

And if you fancy touring the UK, it is now possible to hire a Motorhome through Experience Freedom’s partner, Swift Go motorhome hire, offering holidaymakers access to over 2700 Club sites.

As part of Experience Freedom, guests can enjoy a range of outdoor events, held across the UK. This includes the trio of Experience Freedom CycleFest events in England, Scotland and Wales throughout the year. The events are all accredited by British Cycling and supported by Raleigh and Maxxis and are designed for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy cycling.

Head of Swift Go Motorhome Hire, Richard Smeaton, said: “We are delighted to announce this partnership between two complimentary brands, Swift Go and Experience Freedom.  With Swift’s undoubted motorhome expertise and the Caravan and Motorhome Club’s experience, advice and support network, hirers can book with confidence – from seasoned tourers to try-before-you-buy customers.

“Our partnership is unique in offering the entire motorhome holiday package: a market leading UK-built vehicle, direct from the manufacturer, and the quality of the Caravan and Motorhome Club site network for customers to enjoy.”

Harvey Alexander, director of marketing at the Caravan and Motorhome Club said: “With our 111-year heritage we know the importance of spending time in the great outdoors, and  Experience Freedom allows us to create outdoor adventures and offer them to everyone.  People who don’t own their own unit, and may be a little nervous of the whole concept of camping, are now well catered for with our fantastic selection of pods and yurts.

“Motorhome hire, with our partner Swift Go, also provides holidaymakers with the opportunity to try their hand at motorhoming.  Camping is also a huge element of the Experience Freedom brand and we offer excellent facilities at over 40 tent camping sites; enabling as many people as possible to enjoy the great outdoors and build lasting holiday memories”.
