Waren campsite is ideal for exploring the dramatic and vast beaches in Northumberland, such as Bamburgh and its dominating castle. It’s just a mile to Budle Bay where you can walk along the beach all the way to Bamburgh. For something a little different, a short drive north leads to the tidal causeway of the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.

This Club site is set next to its own private beach which appears at low tide – just a quick walk across the dunes. Nearby are the Pevensey Levels, known for nature conservation and walkers can enjoy the South Downs Way. Pevensey is less than two miles away with various pubs, shops and a castle.

Set on the English Riviera, Beverley Park’s pitches have views over the coast. Along with award-winning beaches, Paignton, 2½ miles away, has a bustling pier, a zoo and boat trips from the harbour. Beverley Park’s facilities include outdoor and indoor pools, a spa, crazy golf, shop, bar and restaurant.

Set on the Gower coast overlooking the vast Three Cliffs Bay. The upper pitches of the site have views over the bay and have been voted ‘Best View from a Campsite in the World’. A short walk, with steep descent, leads to a generally quiet beach with golden sands and rock pools.

The sandy beach is just 100m from Hendre Mynach, and dog-friendly Barmouth, with its shops, cafés and restaurants is a 20-minute walk along the promenade. A small land train runs along the promenade for when you want to rest tired feet, and boat trips can be arranged at Barmouth harbour.
