8f9c6462-8443-405a-81db-749acf3d4183

Camping and fish and chips go together like… well, fish and chips.

The 10 best chip shops in Britain have just been announced and the good news is that every one of them has an excellent campsite nearby.

Organised by Seafish, the annual National Fish & Chip Awards is a UK wide competition celebrating excellence in the fish and chip industry. Each of the 10 finalists will now batter it out to be named the best in the country.

As well as producing mouth-watering food, each shop is assessed on sustainable sourcing, menu innovation, marketing, staff training and customer service.

So, pack the camping stove away for the night and head to one of these 10 campsites where you can enjoy a delicious deep fried takeaway.
