IH 710FLG campervan
Description
When other campervans just aren’t big enough…
Key Features
Full Review
Fiat Ducatos dominate the full-sized campervan sector, with a good selection of MAN TGE/Volkswagen Crafter conversions for those searching for something more premium.
Of course, there are Ford Transits, Peugeot Boxers and Mercedes Sprinters, too, but the Iveco Daily is a rare find indeed. It's not the first time that the I’s – Ian Hartley and Iveco – have combined, the partnership having commenced in 2024, but this 710FLG remains something of a unique creation on the campervan scene.
For a start it’s BIG. That’s 7.20m long and 4.5 tonnes gross weight. And it can tow 2,500kg. Not only that but it’s rear-wheel drive with twin rear wheels, those paired back tyres offering extra traction when the going gets slippery and aiding the ability to lug a speedboat, race car or whatever you fancy behind.
Powerful motor
Somehow, it manages to appear even bigger than the stats suggest, looking lofty and requiring internal and external steps to gain entry via the sliding door. It shouldn’t want for performance, though, powered by a 3-litre, 180hp diesel motor (a 210hp version is also available, for an extra three grand). It drives those rear wheels through an eight-speed Hi-Matic automatic transmission.
Prices, extras
Another statistic that isn’t small is the price. Our fact file might talk of a £100k starting point but this show model added around 20% to that figure. Yours for £121,647. Well, if you’re buying something this big and luxurious, you’re sure to tick all the options. Amongst the £9,252-worth of base vehicle add-ons are the cross-axle differential lock (£1,512), metallic paint (£2,016), full LED headlights and Comfort Plus Pack (£3,324).
The pack includes electric heater mirrors, automatic climate control, a 10in touchscreen with sat-nav and Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control, voice assistant, front fog/cornering lights, a chromed grille and front seats with lumbar support. Then there are £10,400 of IH accessories, featuring a four-metre awning (£1,550), half-leather upholstery (£1,325), alloy wheels (£4,495, matt cupboard doors (£995) and the diesel boiler upgrade (£900).
IH style
Inside, it’s could only be an IH, although the company logo is no longer splashed everywhere. There’s still that high-quality feel and, here, lots of space. LOTS. Compared with a coachbuilt motorhome it might seem a bit long and thin but you’re left in no doubt that this is a bigger-than-usual campervan.
The end bedroom, especially, is a star feature with 1.93m single beds that are mounted low for easy access. There are speakers and a large rooflight in the ceiling and even a TV (with soundbar) at the foot of the offside bed. A shelved wardrobe and coffee table sit between the mattresses at the head end.
Front lounge
In contrast, the forward lounge seems quite modest, especially as the huge overcab cupboard means you stoop to go into the cab. Nevertheless, both captain’s chairs swivel, while the side settee facing the sliding door makes this resolutely a two-person vehicle.
Huge kitchen
The kitchen has the sort of acreage that motorhome owners can only normally dream of, despite the fact that the sink also incorporates a draining board under its glass lid. It’s all-electric cooking here, with a Samsung microwave and Thetford induction hob, but you could have gas appliances (with an underslung LPG tank) if you prefer. Only the under-counter 90-litre compressor fridge seems a bit unexceptional here.
No separate shower
So, the only disappointment is the washroom. It has a bench cassette toilet, opening window, covered loo roll holder, towel rail, toothbrush mug, circular mirror and removable floor mat. But a shower curtain and dated tip-up basin are at odds with the £120k price tag.
More kit
Standard spec also includes a 95-litre fresh water tank, 65-litre grey tank, TV aerial and 160Ah leisure battery.

Our Verdict
If the sheer size of this IH isn’t an issue for you, the Iveco base vehicle gives you towing and payload capacity aplenty, along with rear-wheel drive. The kitchen and bedroom impress but the washroom doesn’t live up to the rest of the motorhome.
