Pilote V630LG

British buyers can choose from a comprehensive line-up of Pilote campervans with the range consisting of ‘V’ (for 'Van') models, including the V630LG, which has a rear lounge layout that has been developed specifically for the British market.
The V630LG is exclusive to our market and features twin facing sofas in the rear, which convert into a large double bed at night. Centrally located is the galley with a three-burner gas hob, oven, an 85-litre fridge/freezer and stainless-steel sink.

Opposite is the washroom fitted with a Thetford cassette loo and a shower large enough to rival those found in some coachbuilt motorhomes.
Because of its appeal to British buyers, Pilote expects this model, as well as the shorter two-berth V540G, which has a rear fixed transverse double bed in a campervan that is just 5.41m long, to be the best sellers in the UK.
Pilote V540G

The compact V540G aims to bring practicality and comfort together in a model that is short enough to offer ease of driving and yet still offer space for that fixed rear double bed, a well-equipped kitchen and a practical washroom.
In fact, the V540G is one of Pilote’s best-selling campervans. But perhaps the most exciting news from this French manufacturer is its launch of the new V633M.

Pilote V633M

This is Pilote’s latest conversion based on the extra-high, extra-long (6.36m) Fiat Ducato (all Pilote campervans are based on the latest Ducato), and the extra height and length have been used to great effect.
At the front, the new V633M has a full-height walk-through into the cab, which makes full use of the extra headroom. Just behind the cab is the usual half-dinette lounge and, behind this, there is a kitchen with a high-mounted 90-litre fridge, and a washroom with a cassette toilet that slides away to provide more showering space.

But the key feature of this new campervan is an electrically adjustable rear bed that can rise to the ceiling to maximise load carrying for carrying bikes, for example, or even a motorbike, inside.
Owners can choose the height of the bed for sleeping and there are windows at both the typical bed level and in the high roof to provide light and ventilation. Pilote says the extra space means this new campervan will appeal to those who not only carry bulky sports equipment but also to people with disabilities, such as wheelchair users.
It will be available in Standard or Premium finish, with Standard prices starting at £59,990 and £61,900 for the Premium finish. Because of its enhanced practicality, thanks to the extra space, it is expected this new model will challenge both the V540G and the V630LG as the top-selling Pilote campervan in the UK.
Pilote, which has 15 dealers spread throughout the UK, is expecting to double its total production capacity over the next three years to as much as 16,000 leisure vehicles across its brands, with its campervan (Van) line-up making up a major part of this growth.
Competition in this sector is fierce – all mainstream manufacturers, as well as hundreds of independent converters, fight for a share of this sector but Pilote believes it offers something more that buyers are looking for.
Pilote says:
We offer the best lounge space to provide maximum comfort, as well as spacious shower/washroom facilities and an extremely high level of enhancement pack options to personalise each vehicle,
