Its new construction is claimed to reduce weight by 25% (great when hiking, appropriately), and yet, despite weighing just 337g, it can keep cold drinks cold for 24 hours and your cappuccino suitably hot for half as long. We’ve gone for the version with the straw lid, which is super-easy to drink from when you’re in a hurry and have just one hand free. The hook handle on the lid makes it easy to carry if you’re not using a rucksack, too. All in all, a great addition to our gear.

Take your picnic to new icy-cool heights with the EcoFlow Glacier, which claims to be the world’s first portable fridge/freezer with a built-in ice maker and 298Wh plug-in battery. It delivers up to 40 hours of refrigeration and 19 hours of freezing on a single charge, and is said to produce 18 ice cubes in 12 minutes – impressive. But all that must come at a cost when it comes to transporting your bevvies around, right? Actually, not so much – the Glacier has two handles and wheels for easy portability, and measures 84.5cm by 38.5cm by 44.5cm, handles and wheels included, but it does weigh in at just over 23kg so factor that in if you’ve got payload to consider.
