Victory Leisure Homes is spearheading a revolution that aims to cut energy costs and take holiday home parks one step closer to off-grid status

The manufacturer has unveiled its first concept for a new range – Evolution by Victory – in response to one of the industry’s biggest challenges: how to make parks more sustainable.

Victory’s research and innovation team has been working to design a solution to the industry’s environmental impact, enabling carbon reductions without the need for expensive structural upgrades.

As part of Victory’s innovative, ground-breaking Next Generation Novus construction method, 10 solar panels are built into the roof of a concept holiday home. This generates enough power to save more than £1,000 a year on energy bills per unit, and an integrated waste water heat recovery system saves enough water to make one in every three showers free of cost.

Other features include; thermal insulation that is 34% more efficient than current lodge standards require, a shower water-saving device that is projected to save £465 in running costs and 68,000 litres of water per year, and a new electric boiler eliminating the need for gas bottles.

Victory says that holiday park running costs would be reduced by 50% and changes to park infrastructure are not needed to achieve it.
