Full review

With an end washroom, a double bed and big lounge, this six-berth caravan has it all.

The Sprite Quattro EW packs in so many elements, combining end washroom practicality with a side dining area and an L-shaped lounge, as well as a fixed bed.

It’s on twin axles, so has a stability advantage when towing.

Storage is generous, with three lockers above the dining area, three more over the bed and four more lockers in the lounge.

The EW has a curved kitchen shelf which projects from the microwave housing.

A desk-style aperture in the shelf enables you to feed cables down from the two sockets here to your kettle or toaster on the surface below. It’s a cleverly- designed feature.

At first glance, the lounge is L-shaped. But it’s more than an L-shape; it’s almost a wrap-around, with a small seating area on the offside below the window. That makes significant difference, not just in providing an extra seat but, when it comes to dining, four can sit around the table.

The lounge converts into a double bed by pulling out the base from under the front settee. So, if you’re considering the EW for use as a four-berth, you can allocate the offside two-person dining area in day mode.

Conversely, if you have young children, you’ll use the area as a bedroom space and keep the lounge set up permanently for daytime use.

All Sprite Quattro EWs come with Swift’s Diamond Pack as standard.

This adds £610 to the price and features a microwave oven, a DAB radio, alloy wheels, a hitch-head stabiliser, Al-Ko Secure wheel-lock receivers (you still have to buy the locks), a door fly screen and four colour-coordinated scatter cushions.
