Globe-Traveller campervans coming to the UK

Polish campervan manufacturer, Globe-Traveller is about to start selling its vehicles in the UK, following a debut at the October NEC show

The range includes the Voyager and Pathfinder, based on the Peugeot Boxer, and the Explorer on Fiat Ducato. Layouts include the XS/2XS at 5.99m long with a French bed, then the Z layout, which is 6.36m long and features rear single beds. The final layout is the X/2X, also on the 6.36m chassis, but with a French bed.

Voyager and Pathfinder campervans have modified raised roofs to accommodate a drop-down double bed, making each model a four-berth with four travel seats, while the lounge area can still be used with the roof bed occupied.

Highlights also include a double floor containing the water and heating systems. The Pathfinder and Explorer Z also have a ‘bike’ option, which allows up to two bicycles to be carried in a garage under the bed, with a sliding rack to ensure easy loading and unloading.

In addition, throughout the Voyager range the standard rear doors of the panel van have been replaced with a lightweight composite wall, giving additional space inside and extending the usable floor length by an additional 12cm.

There are other neat touches, such as a TV that can be watched either from the bed or from the cab seats and a large fold-out table that can be hidden in the floor. The rear beds have a lift-up, adjustable backrest, for comfortable reading or watching TV, plus there’s a shoe locker in the floor and even two wireless chargers in the shelves above the beds.

Other design touches include internal sliding doors that are hidden during the day and yet provide full privacy at night between the bedroom and front area.

It is expected that there will be around six dealers initially.
