Homeseeker bring choice and value to Lawns

This unprecedented line-up for Homeseeker is a result of the increased public interest that is being shown in the Rushden-based company’s growing range.

Homeseeker National Sales Manager, Steve Taylor said: “The main thrust of our sales strategy is to grow our Signature range and get our new models launched as quickly as possible. The Lawns Caravan Extravaganza has always been an important date in our diary and we are pleased to have supported this popular show with so many new models this year.”

Attracting the most attention at the Homeseeker ‘village’ at Lawns was the Tarragon leisure lodge. As Homeseeker’s best-selling model ever and last sold in 2008, the reappearance of this distinctive timber-clad lodge represented a relaunch at the Lawns Extravaganza.

“We recognise that we are in a tough economic climate so we made a point of reintroducing the Tarragon at its 2008 prices,” Steve continued. “This represents incredible value for money and generated quite a high level of interest, both from the trade and end-users, despite a comparatively low turn-out at the show this year.”

The Tarragon features angled ‘Oriel’ bay windows and double French doors off the spacious lounge/dining room. This creates a light, bright living area with spectacular 90° views. While the Homeseeker Tarragon on display was the two bedroom model with en suite and walk-in wardrobe, a three bedroom option is also available for larger families.

Homeseeker also featured another ‘first’ at Lawns in the form of the ultra-modern, ‘Contemporary’ lodge. This modern Scandinavian timber-clad leisure lodge is the result of a collaboration between Homeseeker and high-end leisure home builder, Finnish Log Homes (FLH). Designed to appeal to those who appreciate a Scandinavian lodge constructed to the highest build standards, the Contemporary uses ethically-sourced timber from managed Finnish spruce and pine forests located near the Arctic Circle.

The Homeseeker-built Contemporary leisure lodge on display was the first of many FLH models to be built at Homeseeker’s world-class Rushden factory.

The new 2013 version of the outstanding Olympia Twin also pulled in the crowds at the Show. Benefiting from traditional Homeseeker build quality, this updated model features a choice of several new décor options, which, combined with the light, bright, open-plan design, creates a very appealing and relaxing environment. Needless to say, the Olympia Twin features all the quality design features of Homeseeker’s ‘Signature’ specification as standard including several standard features new to the 2013 model. These include modern flush-fitted spotlights in the lounge/kitchen area and bathroom plus extra furniture such as breakfast bar stools and a bedroom vanity stool as well as extra cabinet space in the bathrooms.

For anyone who missed the Show, the new 2013 Olympia Twin can also be viewed at the company’s Show Village at Rushden where it is dressed up in a new 28mm natural timber cladding that is a welcome result of the collaboration with Finnish Log Homes. In fact, from now on, all Homeseeker leisure lodges have the option of this durable and attractive extra-thick natural timber exterior.

Completing Homeseeker’s ‘village’ at Lawns was the spacious, affordable Affinity park home. The Affinity offers typically high levels of Homeseeker luxury and comfort at an affordable price. It features a separate, fully-equipped, gloss-finish kitchen with integrated appliances and a generous, full-width lounge/dining area with twin box bay windows.

Area Sales Manager John McBey was at Lawns and took the details from a lot of interested parties. “Between myself and the other two sales managers at the show, we recorded solid interest from several dozen potential customers which we hope to convert to sales,” John concluded.
