3000 motorhomes to visit Lincoln this weekend

The Lincolnshire showground will become home to a sea of white boxes this weekend as the Motorhome Show Season Finale, returns to the city. The annual event which takes place from 23-25^th September is expected to attract over 2500 camping units and more than 5000 day visitors.

Visitors can look forward to a vast exhibition area which will showcase over 200 retailers including more than 400 new and used models for sale from over 40 local and national motorhome dealers. As we approach the end of the season many dealers will be reducing prices on 2016 stock, and previewing 2017 models so this is the perfect time to buy. The latest industry must-haves when it comes to outdoor accessories will also be on sale.

The show, which is Best of British themed will host an array of activities such as The Great Motorhome Cake off, a display from the Thorpe Camp Preservation Group, a spitfire flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial flight team (Sunday only) and Bingo. There is also four nights of evening entertainment on offer to campers with Saturdays evenings headline show welcoming to the stage Jimmy Tarbuck & Kenny Lynch, Eric & Little Ern and Dr & The Medics.

The show is open from 9.30am – 5pm daily (4.30pm Sunday) with day entry costing just £7.50 for adults. This includes free parking and a free showguide. Children under 16 are free of charge. If you’re already a keen motorhomer or caravanner, it’s not too late to camp on site for the weekend either. Four nights camping is just £55 which is payable on arrival and includes four nights entertainment. (Tickets for the headline show are £17).
