Ulwell Cottage Caravan Park: Delightful Dorset

44c6396f-d66b-4e2b-a076-9da046733f3f

Just north of the little resort of Swanage, on the amazing Dorset coast, Ulwell Cottage Caravan Park sits below the Purbeck Hills, surrounded by countryside – yet is only a 15-20-minute walk from the lovely resort of Swanage.

This park is tailor-made for families, with an indoor swimming pool, a large recreation field for play possibilities, a shop – plus its own Village Inn, with a restaurant serving lunches and dinners, and an outdoor patio area. The park has been run by the same family for 70 years and prides itself on quiet quality.

Safe sandy beaches and dramatic cliff scenery are close by. Weymouth, Poole, Bournemouth, Lulworth, and many more delightful places, are spread out before you, along this spectacular holiday coastline, all within easy reach of Ulwell Cottage Caravan Park. Owning a holiday home here, you’re guaranteed to find endless days-out possibilities. Or you could just head for the sand of Swanage beach, in a wide, sheltered bay. Its clean waters are excellent for swimming and paddling – and you can hire pedaloes and kayaks.

When you want to go to a different beach, you can head for the four miles of golden, sandy beaches of nearby Studland Beach, or make for the little-known white shingle beach of Worbarrow Bay, often quiet, even in the height of summer. The water clarity makes Worbarrow Bay a good place for snorkelling as well as swimming.

Other attractions of this superb area include Arne Natural Reserve, Durlston Country Park, plus the endless walking opportunities on the Isle of Purbeck.

New holiday homes are arriving at Ulwell at various times of the year; pre-owned homes are periodically available, too. New models from ranges made by Swift, ABI and Regal are among holiday homes which come to Ulwell Cottage.

The park is open from 1 March to 1 January.
