When you want to go to a different beach, you can head for the four miles of golden, sandy beaches of nearby Studland Beach, or make for the little-known white shingle beach of Worbarrow Bay, often quiet, even in the height of summer. The water clarity makes Worbarrow Bay a good place for snorkelling as well as swimming.

Other attractions of this superb area include Arne Natural Reserve, Durlston Country Park, plus the endless walking opportunities on the Isle of Purbeck.
