The new Harrington will join a range of Tingdene lodges, available in a number of layout options. Details of the Harrington are only just emerging, ahead of its unveiling to the public in February. We have, though, seen the two other new Tingdene lodges launched for 2019, the Savannah Centre Lounge and the Havana, reviewed here.

Harrington

The Harrington is a 40ft x 20ft lodge with two double bedrooms. From floor to ceiling, white will be the main décor theme. The ceiling is to be panelled in V-groove ‘Satinwood’ white. The six-panel doors will be in ‘White Minster’. Lounge wallpaper on two walls is ‘Diamond Matt White; the third wall is matt pearl grey, as shown in the photograph above. The feature television unit is white. The flooring finish is called is ‘Whitewash Elegant Oak’.

The appealingly monochrome styling involves charcoal for the two-seater, and light grey for a surprise – a rocking chair!

Kitchen units are ‘Oregon white’, teamed with a cinnamon shade for the breakfast bar, to which there are four bar stools, in grey.

Equipment is a gas hob and electric oven, extractor fan, integrated fridge-freezer.

Beige satin-look curtains for the dining area door have silver-effect eyelets and will hang from satin-nickel poles.

The white theme continues into the bathroom and bedrooms, with grey accents.

Savannah Centre Lounge

A few months ago, Tingdene unveiled the new Savannah single-unit holiday home for 2019, with a spacious, open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area and a double bedroom plus a twin room with a separate bathroom. Now, a second Savannah has been unveiled – with its lounge in the centre of the layout.

The 40ft x 14ft Savannah Centre Lounge has a double room at one end and a twin room at the other. Both have identical shower rooms en suite. It’s a brilliant layout for family use, giving each generation their own end of the lodge.

The hub of the new Savannah – its central living area – has a stunning layout, with the most striking element a full-height part wall, forming the demarcation line between the kitchen-dining area and the lounge.

On the lounge side, the part wall’s purpose is a media wall, with sockets for a television. On the kitchen side, it has a natural walnut panel with three recessed shelves; quite stunning. Walnut is a theme that runs throughout the kitchen, with ‘floating’ shelves within the breakfast bar unit and three long shelves set into the natural walnut splash-back. Teamed with gloss grey shade units and pale blue finish on the table and work-surfaces, the Savannah’s kitchen has an ultra-modern, chic feel.

The dining table is an extension of the work surface, at a lower level, so the dining and kitchen function of the Savannah integrate nicely.

The pale blue colour of the kitchen surfaces carries through to the lounge, where a single armchair is upholstered in this shade.

In both of the bedrooms, small windows are set into recesses created by the grey vertical wood panelling of the bedhead walls. Spotlights are set into the recess, together with two stunning copper pendant lights.

Havana

Tingdene’s Havana Lodge is stylish, it’s large and it’s beautiful. The living area is very much open-plan. It has some cleverly-designed features including the television and shelving unit that is three-dimensionally designed. It’s packed with practical features, including a utility room that contains a shower for your dog!

The kitchen equally has the wow factor, with slate grey worktops and offset shelving above. The anthracite shade gloss-finished kitchen units offer plenty of storage space plus, oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. The breakfast bar/hob area provides plenty of preparation space. The bar stools have a rustic industrial look. They are a lovely combination of black wrought iron and reclaimed-style wood to give an industrial yet homely feel.

The dining area is at the front of the lodge and has a wine shelf and four brown leather chairs with black metal finishings. The leather has a traditional distressed look also, adding to the industrial style theme throughout the Havana.

The hall and utility room are in the centre of the Havana, effectively dividing the holiday home into two distinct sections.

The bedrooms in this two-bed model are mirror images of each other.
