Residential park reviews: Four parks in Essex and Kent

For living and leisure - Four parks in Essex and Kent, two residential and two for holiday homes, all in brilliant locations

Monte Carlo Parks has a mix of leisure and residential parks, primarily in Essex and Kent.

The company launched their residential park in Essex, Red River Country Park in Hullbridge, last year. It’s in a delightful setting on the banks of the River Crouch and is an ideal location especially if you have a love of sailing and fishing.

There are four yacht clubs within a mile of the park and, for those who prefer golf, a club, with two 18-hole courses is within easy reach.

Buses stop nearby going to Southend, Chelmsford and Basildon, all good shopping centres. Southend has seven glorious miles of seafront – and the longest pleasure pier in the world with a railway.

The nearest train station to the park is at Rayleigh, four miles away, with trains to London taking about 40 minutes. Hullbridge has good shopping facilities. Close by is the antiques village of Battlebridge and the rural Essex countryside is a great attraction.

Show homes

Stately Albion

The park now has show homes from Stately-Albion, plus availability of off-plan homes made by Omar, giving buyers the freedom to choose any home from that manufacturer’s range.

You can even bespoke your home. Imagine your own unique home designed by you – this can be a reality with Monte Carlo Parks’ Bespoke Park Home service.

The company also offers a part-exchange service to make the move into park life even easier. So, whether you are releasing equity and downsizing, or just looking to retire in luxury, Red River and Monte Carlo Parks can help.

Five Furlongs

In Kent, Monte Carlo Parks established Five Furlongs, in Paddock Wood, last year.

In the heart of the county known as the Garden of England, Five Furlongs Country Park is eight miles southwest of Maidstone, on the fringe of the town of Paddock Wood, which has a good selection of restaurants and several supermarkets.

Residential park homes and luxury holiday lodges are on offer here, all designed to give you elegant modern design, comfort and luxury.

Spill Land Farm Country Park

Spill Land Farm Country Park

Monte Carlo Parks also has a leisure park in Kent.

A new luxury lodge development is taking place at Spill Land Farm Country Park, a mile from the village of Biddenden and surrounded by woodland and farmland. It’s in a brilliantly convenient location, four miles from the market town of Tenterden, 22 miles north of Hastings and 19 miles from charming Tunbridge Wells.

The larger towns of Maidstone and Ashford are within 16 miles. So, owning a holiday home here provides a country retreat amid Kent’s town and coast charm. The park has a 12-month holiday licence so, although you can’t live there, you can visit at any time.
