Warfield Park in Berkshire is a long-established park home estate in a beautiful woodland setting. It’s been home to Peter and Carolyn Cousins for 25 years, since they bought their luxurious Lissett home.

The couple decided it was time that their home had a makeover – and they called in Prestige Developments for a full refurbishment using the company’s Ultimate range of products.

Peter and Carolyn love their Lissett 48ft by 20ft home. They have an extra-large plot backing onto woodland with plenty of space for their dog, Rosie, to run around.

With retirement approaching, they decided it was time to bring their home up to today’s standards and at the same time cut down on future maintenance.

On meeting Peter and Carolyn, the challenge for Prestige Developments was to not only transform their home and bring it up to today’s park home standards but also to make it stand out; something in keeping with the park’s contemporary style of homes. Using a variety of Prestige Ultimate products, the end result showcases not only what Prestige Developments can offer and produce but also, importantly, as to the brief from the customer, to make the home maintenance-free and look brand-new.

One of the tough decisions to make, mainly for Carolyn, was to choose from the array of colours and finishes which Prestige offers. After three meetings, lots of pictures from Prestige’s portfolio of refurbished homes, plus samples of colours and materials from the company’s Ultimate range.… and even a tour of Warfield Park to see other Prestige refurbished homes, Carolyn made some great choices. Prestige’s surveyors gave advice along the way. And Peter did make some contributions to the decisions, too!

Prestige’s engineers carefully removed the old and refurbished with new. They started from the top, with the Prestige Ultimate Metro tiled roof with feature apex.

They used Prestige’s Ultimate cladding, increasing the home’s wall depth and insulation properties. They created door surrounds, window and corner finishes, and beautiful gable ends, to enhance the home’s appearance – all fitted with “Ultimate” maintenance-free materials.

New Ultimate windows were installed to compliment the look.

The front door was replaced, too; Peter and Carolyn chose one from Prestige’s Composite range, all of which are designed and manufactured in the company’s factory in Northamptonshire.
