Park reviews: Seaside Splendour – Greenways of Gower

fcc49577-d3b8-43fe-bc0a-f90982ced1fd

Overlooking Oxwich and Three Cliffs Bay, the award-winning Greenways of Gower offers holiday home owners spectacular views across the sea and surrounding countryside. These are rated as some of the best views of the Gower Peninsula, but you don’t have to travel far to see them, you just have to walk to your window!

It’s not just the views that are spectacular, the holiday lodges available to purchase on the park match the surroundings in beauty.

Currently available is the stunning ABI Harrogate, furnished to a very high standard and complete with decking, this holiday home is ready to move into and begin your seaside escape.

Also on offer is a Swift Whistler lodge, on a pitch commanding some of the best beach and countryside views of Gower, this spacious, high-quality lodge has everything you could dream of and more.

The lodges are licenced for holiday use at any time of the year.

Both lodges have a 30-year licence agreement. Both are priced at £135,000 which includes the first year’s pitch fees.

Greenways of Gower’s website sums up the ‘feel’ of the area perfectly: “The Gower Peninsula was designated Britain’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956 and it’s easy to see why. Measuring only around five miles wide and little over three times this in length, the peninsula has plenty of rustic beauty and old-worldly charm…”

The Gower has ancient monuments including 30 Iron Age forts, plus legend, mystery and tales of haunted wells… “On Gower there is mystery and adventure to discover at every turn!”

Greenways is exceptionally well landscaped, not just with the flora and fauna that border the pitches but also, as it is situated on a hill overlooking the sea, every care has been made so that as many pitches as possible enjoy the fantastic views of the Gower coastline. Sitting out on your decking in the morning, enjoying a coffee and gazing across this fantastic part of the British Isles, it really doesn’t get much better than this!

The Gower Peninsula is the perfect place to get back to nature and Premier Leisure Parks also has two other parks in the area – Whiteford Bay and Green Meadow. The only dilemma you’ll have is choosing which of these fabulous parks is the perfect one for you.

Whiteford Bay

Whiteford Bay Premier Leisure Park overlooks the beautiful bay. Its peaceful location is one of Gower’s best-kept secrets – and it’s renowned for wonderful sunsets. This is the largest of the three Premier Leisure Parks, yet it is known for the same friendly atmosphere as the group’s other parks.

Nestled behind Whiteford Burrows, this hidden gem has a large adventure playground, making it an ideal choice for families. There is also a launderette and shop. The park has no clubhouse – but the Britannia Inn, with restaurant, is within walking distance, along with a village shop where you can sit in the café for home-made tea and cakes or buy local produce at your leisure.

Green Meadow

Green Meadow Holiday Park is the newest addition to the Premier Leisure Park group and is now the sister site to Greenways Premier Leisure Park just down the road. This park has stunning views across the coast.

Green Meadow has its own small play area and launderette; owners at this park are welcome to use the facilities at Greenways.

All the parks offer some stunning views and all are just a short walk to a beautiful beach.

As soon as you arrive at a Premier Leisure Park you can feel the stresses and worries of everyday life disappear as your mind and body immediately adjust to the slower pace of life and the beautiful surroundings. The only dilemma you face is... deciding which of the three parks to choose!
