Park reviews: Close to the coast - the Gower Peninsula

Imagine owning a holiday home on the coast with views of the sea. But not just any area of coastline, the Gower Peninsula – Britain’s first-ever Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty…

Oxwich and Three Cliffs Bay, the award-winning Greenways of Gower offers spectacular views across the sea and surrounding countryside. But you don’t have to travel far to see them; if you buy a holiday home here, you just have to walk to your window!

It’s not just the views that are spectacular. The holiday lodges available to purchase on the park match their surroundings in beauty. Currently on offer is the stunning ABI Harrogate, complete with decking, this holiday home is ready to move into and begin your seaside escape.

Also on offer is a spacious Swift Whistler lodge, commanding some of the best beach and countryside views of Gower.

The lodges are licenced for year-round use and both of these homes have a 30-year licence agreement. Both are priced at £135,000 and include the first year’s pitch fees.

Greenways of Gower’s website sums up the ‘feel’ of the area perfectly: “The Gower Peninsula was designated Britain’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956 and it’s easy to see why. Measuring only around five miles wide and little over three times this in length, the peninsula has plenty of rustic beauty and old-worldly charm...”

There are ancient monuments including more than 30 Iron Age forts, plus legend, mystery and tales of haunted wells... “On Gower there is mystery and adventure to discover at every turn!”

The Gower Peninsula is the perfect place to get back to nature. Premier Leisure Parks has two other parks in the area, Whiteford Bay and Green Meadow; all are just a short walk to a beautiful Gower beach.

Whiteford Bay Premier Leisure Park

Whiteford Bay Premier Leisure Park overlooks the beautiful bay.

Its peaceful location is one of Gower’s best kept secrets – and it’s well known for wonderful sunsets. This is the largest of the three Premier Leisure Parks, yet it is known for the same friendly atmosphere as the group’s other parks.

Nestled behind Whiteford Burrows, this hidden gem has a large adventure playground, making it an ideal choice for families. There is also a launderette and shop. The park has no clubhouse – but the Britannia Inn, with a restaurant, is within walking distance, along with a village shop where you can sit in the café for home-made tea and cakes or buy local produce.

Green Meadow Holiday Park

Green Meadow Holiday Park is the newest addition to the Premier Leisure Park group and is now the sister site to Greenways Premier Leisure Park just down the road. This park has stunning views across the coast and has its own play area. Owners at this park are welcome to use the facilities at Greenways.
