Looking for a new home in Cheshire or Lancashire? Here are three options, one of which borders the wildlife haven of Delamere Forest.

At Delamere Grove, in the peaceful, quality county of Cheshire, a super-luxury Pathfinder Bespoke Lighthouse has arrived; a perfect, stunning home to convince you that living the park dream can be gorgeous reality.

Delamere Grove is on the edge of Delamere Forest, a wonderful region of endless walking possibilities and a haven for wildlife.

Pathfinder Bespoke Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is an architecturally stunning creation with a unique front entrance beside full-depth windows. The essence of this home is just as its name implies; natural light floods into a lovely open-plan living space.

White is a theme running through the Lighthouse, from its white stipple exterior outlined with grey window surrounds to its white-framed, simply-styled fireplace and superbly-modern, white-cabinet kitchen.

This 40ft x 22ft two-bedroom home is an elegant residence with a touch of classic style in the lounge and dining furniture. Interestingly, this stunning home is priced competitively, at £177,000.

Olympic Park Homes is a family-run company in the North West of England; its head office is in Cheshire. The company owns three parks – two of Olympic's parks are in Cheshire, at Delamere and Whitegate.

There's also an Olympic park in Lancashire, just south of Preston, overlooking fields that border the River Ribble.

Pathfinder Evolution

At Meadow Home Park, in Whitegate, a new arrival is due in February. It's a Pathfinder Evolution which, like the Lighthouse, has a lot of natural light coming in through enormous windows and skylights. Pathfinder describes the Evolution as an opulent home, with an exterior that's outstanding from every angle.

The Evolution has feature parquet flooring, a snug area and a kitchen with an array of Bosch appliances, an induction hob and revolutionary 'pop-up' extractor fan. The kitchen is also fitted with a handle less, soft close design introducing an air of elegance to the area.

The company is run by Andrew Thornley, his step-daughter Sam Leigh-Jones and her husband Darren Jones. It all started in the 1960s when Andrew's parents decided to change track from running a bakery to running holiday parks. Now, Sam and Darren are taking an increasing role in the company and, six years ago, rebranded it as Olympic Park Homes.

The Parks Meadow Home Park

Olympic regards Meadow Home as its flagship park. It's the smallest of the three and the newest; the company bought it in 2015.

Meadow Home Park overlooks the River Weaver, in peaceful countryside yet close to everyday facilities. It's in the little-known parish of Whitegate and Marton, just a couple of miles from Winsford and five miles from Northwich.

Meadow Home Park has close access to golf, fishing, walking, sailing and cycling; whatever your pursuit, it's within easy reach of the park.

Each plot has beautiful river views. Home sizes available are from 45 ft - 55 ft x 22 ft.

Delamere Grove

This park is on the site of an ancient sandstone quarry from which stone for many of the area's historic buildings came. Nestled on the side of a hill with magnificent views across the Cheshire plains, this small park, with only 25 homes, is in open countryside, yet close to facilities.

Delamere village, just half a mile away; a village store, two country pubs and, of course, the famous Delamere Forest is on your doorstep. The historic towns of Northwich and Frodsham are close by, as is the Roman walled city of Chester – great for a cultural or shopping day out anytime!

Delamere Grove is a mile from a train station and half a mile from a bus stop; useful if you want to leave the car at home to avoid city parking problems.

Carrwood Park

On the outskirts of Walton-le-Dale, looking across fields towards the River Ribble and Preston, Carrwood Park is set in ancient woodlands. The sight of bluebells in the spring and occasional deer in the winter make Carrwood an ideal location for relaxation. The park is amid countryside yet is within a few miles of Preston and a mile from a major retail park.
