Park review: Badgerwood Park from Tingdene Parks

In beautiful Berkshire, a new residential park home development is taking place. Badgerwood Park is within easy reach of Crowthorne, Wokingham, Bracknell and Reading; it’s in an ideal position for buyers looking for a rural retreat yet with the convenience of towns nearby.

The park is located in an area of woodland in Easthampstead Park. Once in the park you feel like you could be in a forest somewhere. You’re completely surrounded by mature woodland which is great for walking – especially if you have a dog. It’s a perfect location for those who want to be close to amenities and, perhaps, stay close to family and friends, while feeling that you are living away from it all.

The best of both worlds, then! The park is almost equidistant from the towns of Crowthorne and Wokingham. Crowthorne has all the amenities anyone would need – a good range of shops, doctors and dentists.

Show homes from Tingdene Parks

Two show homes are arriving shortly. These are a two bedroom, 42ft by 20ft Tingdene Barnwell, which has a separate lounge, and a two bedroom, 46ft by 20ft Tingdene Addington, which has an open-plan living space. Both are popular homes in the Tingdene portfolio. Both have en suite shower rooms.

Wokingham, also, has everything you would need, plus some more high street shops, coffee houses and eateries. This is an attractive, vibrant town with history – and an elegant Victorian town hall.

Just up the road from the park is a brand-new facility; a café, small function hall and play area. This is next to a well-established bowls and tennis club and the Downshire Golf Complex is just a little further down the road. So, there are plenty of activities close by, plus lots of walking and cycling opportunities. Just a little further afield and you’ll find yourself in Bracknell or Reading with yet more choice of shops and activities.

The park’s location also provides the benefit of road, rail and airport links close by. It’s less than an hour into London by train and 30 minutes by car to Heathrow.

The first phase, which is nearing completion, is for 28 plots. There will be a total of 70 homes on the park. Buyers can choose from a wide range of plot sizes.

The park, for people aged over 45, is part of the Tingdene Parks portfolio. Each home has a private garden and a driveway. Homes, made by Tingdene Homes, can be designed to customers’ individual specification. They are backed by a 10-year platinum seal manufacturers’ warranty. These low-maintenance, high-quality homes are ideal for anyone wishing to downsize, free up some equity and start a more leisurely lifestyle.

Ian Collier, Managing Director of Tingdene Parks, comments: “A unique oasis of peace and quiet in the middle of a relatively populated area, Badgerwood Park is a very special park for us and we’re working to make it extra special for the residents, too. With outstanding views and plenty of opportunities to walk and cycle, plus high streets and all the amenities you might need close to hand, we believe the park offers the best of town and country. We can’t wait to start showing people around.”
