The great majority of residential park homes have wow-factor in spades. Occasionally, though, one stands out from the crowd for awesome styling. Tingdene’s amazing Overstone ticks style boxes off the scale. The expression ‘dream home’ is rather overused in our industry but the Overstone is every inch exactly that and more.

Some park homes exude grandeur, opulence, or classic excellence. The Overstone, though, falls into none of those cagtegories. This is cutting-edge design artistry, a creation of dramatic styling.

A porthole window, an ingenious assemblage of glass and frame that forms a partial demarcation between the cooking and eating zone and the incredible lounge… The Overstone is an outstanding invention. 

There’s a starkness about the styling of the lounge, created by clean lines and sharp edges, plain wood-effect flooring, a ‘floating’ long cabinet that can have a multitude of uses, a circular glass coffee table on a thin metal leg structure, and seating that also stands on a metal base.

This is the only park home that has a dedicated ’reading area’; a place of very individual character, with a large porthole window, bookshelves on a dark brown wall and two chairs upholstered in a gorgeous saffron colour. This niche area is stunning.

The indigo blue of the kitchen adheres strikingly to the stark theme; an ultra-modern, bold statement of design. And the amazing multi-bulb pendant light over the dining table is like an exploding cluster of stars. The Overstone is full of ingenious and beautiful design ideas.
