The Sonata has been a popular residential home for some time. For 2021 it gets colour changes, introducing fawns, creams and pale greys. This home has a dining-lounge area that is L-shaped and wraps around the kitchen, which is virtually square. The new kitchen colours are cream for the units and grey for the stunning, bevelled-edge tiles that run around between the upper cabinets and the work surface. A four-burner hob, oven grill, dishwasher and washing machine are the standard appliances plus, of course, a fridge-freezer.
The focal point of the lounge is a log-effect electric fire in a neat, plain cream fireplace. The oak dining suite, with high-backed dining chairs, injects a hint of cottage style. The lounge furnishing creates a relaxing, comfortable look. A sumptuous pale fawn sofa and two chairs in a classic style are teamed with curtains that have a slightly embossed cream pattern on an ultra-pale grey background; delightful. The three large, circular pendant lights make a bold statement.
The cream theme continues in the bedrooms with upholstered bedheads; velvet in the main bedroom and satin-effect fabric for the second bedroom which features mirrored wardrobe doors. The main bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and shower en suite.
There’s a classical elegance about the Sonata. Comfort abounds – and so does lovely traditional style, yet with a definite modern twist.
