With the name Ikon you’d expect a park home to have exceptional individuality, to be a leader in terms of design and to have wow-factor. And you’d be right.

The Ikon was unveiled in April this year — a stunning home with exterior simplicity of style as its instant eye-catching element. Inside, the first Ikon had a brilliant pink accent colour that made a great style statement. Then, later in the year, the Ikon grabbed even more attention.

Focus on colours

This time the focus was on new interior accent colours — a lovely, pastel duck-egg blue combined with turquoise. Now, there are six colour options. These include ‘zest and lemon’, ‘marine and violet blue’ and ‘wine and claret violet’. The Omar website has a sample of each colour combination.

With so many colour options you can tailor the Ikon to suit your tastes, though we think the blue and turquoise combination pictured on these pages creates a delightful sea-and-blue-sky appeal — a home in which you’d always feel as if you were on holiday!

So, loads of colour options. What of the layout? Like the exterior styling, with its long, slender windows, simplicity is the notable factor.

The lounge runs the width of the Ikon, with the kitchen and dining area alongside it — together, like the lounge, occupying the full width of the home. Double doors separate the lounge from the dining and kitchen area.

Two skylights ensure the kitchen is light and bright — helped by the gloss white upper cabinet doors. Appliances include a washing machine, dishwasher and an eye-level double electric oven.

Bedroom and bathroom

The bedroom and bathroom configuration, like the rest of the Ikon, is straightforward. The bedrooms are at the rear of the home; mirror images in size and layout. The difference is the main bedroom has a shower en suite, with both a deluge and a hand-held shower; the bathroom is alongside the guest bedroom.

Large wardrobes with sliding doors provide plenty of storage space. A style statement is the large padded and buttoned headboard — designed specifically for the Ikon.

The Ikon is available in two standard sizes, 45ft by 20ft and 50ft by 20ft; Omar can modify floor plans to suit individual requirements.
