Oaklands Park — a Cornish Gem

A quiet park amid lovely countryside and close to two delightful coastal villages

Cornwall’s south coast is sheltered — and is famous for its lovely beaches and brilliant little coastal villages. One of the most spectacular is traffic-free Polperro, whitewashed and quaint, with lots of cafés and some interesting shops. Another is Looe, larger and with a beach and busy port; you can buy fish from the quayside where it’s landed.

Oaklands Park is close to both Polperro and Looe. It’s an amazing location in which to buy a holiday home. And you have the whole of Cornwall to explore; nowhere is very far in this peninsular county.

The countryside views from the park are amazing. And you can walk to Polperro from here, along a picturesque woodland path. Or you can drive there in just two minutes.

Events including markets, fairs, food festivals and even Christmas and New Year celebrations take place at both Polperro and Looe.
