Monkton Wyld Park: Close to the Dorset coast

Monk Monkton Wyld has welcomed visitors for nearly 30 years. The park’s holiday home owners appreciate the space and thoughtful landscaping of the holiday home area and the park in general.

The safe, sandy beaches of Lyme Regis and Charmouth are just 3 miles distant. Lyme has many quirky and individual shops and a small theatre, whilst guided fossil walks can be joined from the Heritage Coast Centre at Charmouth.

East lies the world famous Chesil Beach, home to Abbotsbury Swannery and  tropical gardens.  Bridport has a growing reputation for arts and crafts, antiques and entertainment with the cliffs of Broadchurch fame nearby. West lies the unique coastal villages of Beer, Branscombe and the larger, bustling Sidmouth.

The holiday homes at Monkton Wyld are connected to metered electricity and underground gas. All ground maintenance and services are included in the annual fee. Every holiday home has enclosed skirting with front and side decking. The adjacent car parking is a real bonus when arriving with grandchildren or bags of shopping!

Children can race around the two play areas. The park has a conservation wood, wild flower meadow and nearly 20 bird nesting boxes on buildings and in trees around the park.

The park’s magnificent staff are the key to our success. This is borne out by the wonderful comments directed to them on trip advisor.  Monkton Wyld is proud to have been awarded Silver in the Dorset Tourism Touring Camping & Caravanning Park of the Year and Platinum in the Loo of the Year Awards. These accolades reflect the attention to detail and the overall care which the park’s dedicated team of staff provide to each and every visitor.
