A parkland escape — Walks, pubs and a garden centre with a restaurant

Willow Pastures Country Park is a peaceful, family-owned holiday park in north Yorkshire, set in rural parkland — a perfect location to escape from everyday life.

Beautiful trees surround the park and a small stream meanders along the edge. The park’s sophisticated landscaping compliments the countryside setting and assists in providing privacy for holiday home-owners. The park owners are proud of the attention to detail and work hard to ensure that Willow Pastures looks fantastic throughout the 12-month season.

The Trans Pennine Trail adjoins the park, providing the ideal route for dog walkers, ramblers and cyclists. The path follows the old railway line route to Hornsea and Hull, with country pubs along the way.

The Gardener’s Arms Country Inn is just footsteps away from the park and offers a selection of real ales and an extensive wine list. Serving home-cooked food in traditional surroundings, you can enjoy a relaxing weekday dinner or Sunday roast.

Next to the park is Skirlaugh Garden & Aquatic Centre, which has a stylish gift shop and homeware section, antique dealers, an aquatic centre and fantastic plant and garden centre department. Also located here is So Delicious, a popular restaurant offering breakfasts.
