Sophisticated style is the keynote of the Waverley, one of 17 holiday homes and lodges in the Willerby portfolio. This 42ft by 14ft holiday home is available with either two or three bedrooms.
It’s an eye-catching home from the exterior, with a front panel that is split into two sections, one slightly further forward than the other. Inside, this split front design results in a lounge that has two dimensions, and feels ultra-spacious. Patio doors open on one side of the split and, on the other, the television cabinet sits in an area that it seems it has all to itself. Clever!
Furnishings are two armchairs and a three-seater sofa that can be transformed into an extra bed. Two-bedroomed Waverleys have a central large footstool with integral storage and a top that turns it into a coffee table – another cleverly designed feature.
At the entrance, on the side of the home, practicality is provided by coat hooks, a shoe rack and a seat on which to perch to lace and unlace walking boots.
The Waverley’s kitchen is stunning, with an island unit that gives extra working surface. Two bar stools tuck underneath, so that you can use it as a breakfast bar. An oven-grill, five-burner hob, extractor fan and microwave are standard, together with a fridge-freezer, of course.
Gorgeous copper and black pendant lights hang over both the dining table and breakfast bar. Three-bedroomed Waverleys come with two cylindrical, upholstered stools so that the dining area can accommodate six.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed with a lift-up storage system and upholstered headboard. Extra nice points are a walk-in wardrobe – and a window seat! The single beds in the second bedroom are domestic, 3ft width; buyers can opt for a double bed instead of the twin beds.
