The Savannah holiday home from Tingdene offers four layout choices and two décor themes.
You can have a Savannah with either coastal or woodland vibes. Styling is rather like the Havana, so if you like this model, take a close look, also, at the Havana.
Perhaps most important among the options is that you can have a Savannah with bedrooms at each end and the lounge and dining-kitchen in the centre. That’s an ideal layout for two generations, especially as both bedrooms have en suites.
Size options are 40ft by 12ft for the centre-lounge model, and 38ft or 42ft by 13ft for the options which have the lounge at the front of the layout.
There are very few centre-lounge holiday homes on the market, which is why we so love this option in the Savannah range. It has an ingenious layout, with a full-height part wall, forming the demarcation line between the kitchen and the lounge.
On the lounge side, the part wall’s purpose is a media wall, with sockets for a television. On the kitchen side, the wall has another function – it has a deep, natural walnut panel with three recessed shelves; quite stunning. Natural walnut is a theme that runs throughout the kitchen, with ‘floating’ shelves, like those in the Havana, within the breakfast bar unit.
The four-burner hob is set into the breakfast bar unit, with an oval extractor fan above it. The oven is directly below it, keeping the cooking equipment conveniently in one area. The fridge-freezer and dishwasher are contained within the units.
The pale blue colour of the kitchen surfaces carries through to the lounge, where a single armchair is up-holstered in this shade. The L-shaped sofa is plain, pale grey. The whole look is smartly retro.
