A stunning, new two or three-bedroomed holiday home with a wood-burning ‘stove’ to make it cosy.

The Langdale is one of ABI’s new holiday homes for 2020. It’s an extraordinary holiday home with a blend of styles that combine to create a stunning and luxurious holiday home with a hint of Scandinavian style.

One of the most eye-catching features is a circular wood burner style stove in a front corner of the lounge, beside double sliding patio doors.

There’s a television wall, with an array of shelves and cabinets within and alongside the TV surround.

The unit provides plenty of hideaway areas to keep the lounge tidy and four shelf areas so that you can personalise your lounge with pictures and ornaments.

The lounge furniture is a settee and two armchairs in mid grey; teamed with pale woodwork, the total look is modern yet with a classic touch.

The standard lounge floor covering is a wood-effect laminate but an optional extra lounge carpet is available.

Cooking and eating

The dining area, on one side of the kitchen, has a floor-to-ceiling window, making this a lovely bright area like the lounge.

The kitchen is U-shaped, with a mixture of light and dark to create an unusual and appealing décor. The surface and the cabinets are light wood; the lower cabinets are graphite grey, and have slim metal handles integrated into the centre-top of each unit.

The fridge and separate freezer are integrated into the lower cabinets; an integrated washing machine is also an option. The hob has five burners set on a black glass base — it’s stunningly beautiful.

A large clear glass splashback completes the look. There are shelves above and below the microwave, plus plenty of surface space.

Sleeping

The hallway is nicely spacious and has three coat hooks plus two large shelves for shoes.

The unit reviewed here is a 41ft by 13ft holiday home and has three bedrooms; a two-bedroomed layout is also available.

Twin rooms are side by side at the rear, both with wardrobes and shelves, four sockets, USB ports and television connection points.

The double bedroom also has four sockets, two on each side of the bed plus two more by a shelf-and-mirror unit. There’s also a television position on a wall; buyers just need to add a bracket. The en suite toilet to this room has a ladder-style radiator in white.

The shower room is spacious and has a feature panel of grey rock-effect in the shower.

The Langdale is available in a choice of exterior finishes including natural wood and white CanExel. It’s also available upgraded to residential specification.
