Club Holiday Homes is a leading provider of holiday home accommodation, including luxury lodges and caravan holiday homes, with 14 parks across the UK spanning Scotland, England and Wales.

Launched in the year 2000 as a new arm of The Camping and Caravanning Club, holiday home locations today vary from parks on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park at Tarland, to Rhandirmwyn (Ran-dee-mon) in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains in mid-Wales and Winchcombe in the stunning Cotswolds surrounded by pretty towns and villages.

Its three sites in Scotland continue to attract an increasing number of homeowners, each in search of highland adventure. The locations themselves vary tremendously; Scone in Perthshire is set in the grounds of the delightful Scone Palace, while Nairn is found on the rugged Moray Firth, set within a stunning Highland Forest.

Finally, Tarland is ideally placed on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, within a short drive of Balmoral, the official summer residence of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. All of them offer something special for lovers of the outdoors.

Club Holidays Homes for all

Enjoying Breakfast in a holiday lodge

The Club offers a wide range of holiday homes to suit all budgets and requirements. With a selection of both brand new and pre-owned holiday homes, you’ll find something that is right for you.

Holiday home owners can make use of their home up to 11 months in any one year, with licence periods of 15 years for a new caravan through to a period of up to 50 years for a new lodge. Annual site fees, which include all rates and VAT, range from £1,500 to £5,200 per annum.

And what do homeowners with the Club say is the biggest plus point to having a base in their favourite destination?

Convenience, says Angela, who is the owner of a lodge holiday home with the Club in the Lake District, “you can park the car and don’t have to get back in it the whole time you are here. Keswick is just there, the lake is just there. At home I have to get in the car for everything, so our position here is just ideal.”

Escape the daily routine

Other benefits enjoyed by owners include being able to relax and escape the daily routine without the need for booking or having to pack and unpack lots of equipment.

“At Lakeside Holiday Park, there is an owner-led social committee”

Indeed, each park provides a great base, with some offering on-site events throughout the camping season; Easter egg hunts through to Halloween ‘spooktaculars’ each help to keep children entertained. And when there’s less activity on site, homeowners are always part of an on-site community, with neighbours nearby throughout the year.

Whenever other touring units move away, lodges and caravan holiday homes remain permanent, attracting visitors time and time again, often at times of the year when the local lakes, lochs, cities and countryside in between are all quieter. At Lakeside Holiday Park, there is an owner-led social committee that meets regularly to coordinate a range of community activities for the benefit of homeowners.
