IN the bedrooms the new Shaker style furniture with built in wardrobes and free standing bedside tables is birch finish – it’s a ‘blonde wood’ effect, and the shower pod in the en-suite shower room has been changed. There are new curtains in the master bedroom called Portenza Coffee; they are, as the name suggests, beige and have a swirl design.

The kitchen and utility area have new cupboard carcasses with soft close drawers, in ‘Apple’ shade from a range called Braque and the white sink, hob, extractor hood and built under oven do blend well with the cupboards. Granite effect laminate worktops and slate effect floor tiles complete the look.

The lounge and dining area have new linen effect curtains in cream shade with same-colour swirl design, too, from a range called Portenza Linen. In the lounge these co-ordinate well with the pale, coffee-coloured sofas from a fabric range called ‘Latte’. The Chiltern really has joined the Café Society, hasn’t it?
