Wessex launches new park home

Wessex will be exhibiting at the World of Park & Leisure Homes Show, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, 8-10 June with three models.

These include a new luxury lodge called the Spinney. The company will also have the Canford and Dorset park homes on display.

The World of Park & Leisure Homes Show is the UK's leading, dedicated show for park and leisure homes. Set in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, the show offers information on the lifestyle and on new park homes. Entry and car parking is free.

Wessex Spinney Lodge

Wessex tells us that the Spinney is a cosy and homely lodge with unique design features and a contemporary twist.

The exterior styling has a lovely welcoming feel created by a cottage-style front door in a soft green colour.

The main entrance opens up into the kitchen area where there's a practical country-style, white painted oak hall bench with baskets and a mirror with coat hooks.

Its kitchen is an unusual arrangement; semi open-plan with borrowed light from the main living space. A central wall, open to either side, provides space for a single oven, 5-burner hob and chimney extractor. Integrated appliances include a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and wine cooler.

The lounge-dining area has a woodland feel created by feature designer wallpaper to the far wall. Here, a false chimney breast with a distressed oak mantelpiece and an electric stove set on a tiled hearth create a cosy feel. And, it's complete with a sofa in antique gold, along with two wingback-style armchairs in a natural stone fabric with a stag design.
