Victory Leisure Homes encourages UK breaks amid passport delays
Holiday home manufacturer, Victory Leisure Homes, is encouraging holidaymakers to look to staycations amid passport delays for those travelling abroad
With an estimated 500,000 passport applications waiting to be processed and fast-track services costing up to £140 per passport, the Yorkshire-based manufacturer says that visiting a UK holiday park has become an obvious choice.
Gary Corlyon, Managing Director of Victory Leisure Homes, says,
Over the past two years the nation has experienced the wide range of benefits of holidaying in the UK in an array of incredible destinations. In fact, 4.5 million Brits took their first camping or caravanning holiday during the pandemic, with one in five adults having been camping or caravanning since the start of Covid-19.
Lower costs and reduced travel time, together with beautiful landscapes, award-winning food and drink and standout attractions make a staycation in the UK an obvious choice when it comes to choosing your destination this summer. Come wind, rain or shine, there’s a staycation to suit.
The increased demand for holiday homes and lodges saw Victory Leisure Homes triple its production in 2021, opening a new Hull-based 200,000 square-foot factory to keep up with sales.
