Glasgow caravan and motorhome show postponed

The Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home Show, due to take place in February 2022, has been postponed until 2023.

The Glasgow event was set to take place from 3 to 6 February, but will now be rescheduled in 2023. The show’s sister event, Go Explore, in the southeast of England, will not happen in March 2022, either.

This follows on from assurances that the February NEC show is still set to run as planned, despite Swift, one of the UK's biggest caravan, motorhome and holiday home manufacturers, pulling out in December 2021.

The organiser has cancelled the Scottish show because of the recent surge in caravan and motorhome sales and interest in touring holidays. An increase in demand and supply chain issues have led to a lack of products for dealers and manufacturers.

Dave Brechin, Group Show Director for QD’s caravan shows, said

With the current market challenges, we simply would have been unable to deliver the visitor experience that people have come to expect.

The Scottish Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Show will now take place at Glasgow’s SEC from 2 to 5 February, 2023, while Go Explore at Farnborough International will run from 24 to 26 March, 2023.

Ticket holders should be contacted by sellers or organisers and offered a chance to transfer the tickets to next year’s event or get a refund.
