Park Holidays takes over Broadland Sands

Park Holidays UK has announced its acquisition of Broadland Sands Holiday Park in Corton, located between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth in Suffolk.
Broadland Sands, previously owned by Ayresmont Ltd, is one of the largest holiday parks on the Suffolk coast. It has around 440 caravan holiday homes, both privately owned and available for hire.
It also provides a host of family-friendly attractions including swimming pool, a club complex with entertainment, sports facilities, and restaurant and cafe.
The acquisition brings to 24 the number of holiday parks operated by Park Holidays UK, all located in Southern England, from Devon in the west to Suffolk in the east.
The acquisition is the first for Park Holidays UK since the company was itself acquired by Caledonia Investments in November 2013 and marks the first stage of plans to expand the business.
