Open weekend at two southwest lodge parks

Paladin Park Homes is holding open days to showcase new show homes at two parks in Devon and Cornwall

Where are the open days?

Springfield Retreat is eight miles west of Exeter, on the fringe of the Dartmoor National Park in Devon. It is close to the A30 that takes you into Cornwall, so it's ideally placed for exploring both Devon and Cornwall. Lodge prices at this park start at £129,000.

Higher Charaton Park is a new development of only nine lodges, with views over Dartmoor, in Cornwall. It is the only park in the southwest offering lodges for sale on a freehold basis.

This means owners will not only buy the lodge but they also purchase the land it sits on, so no ground rent will be payable. The park has a 12-month holiday licence. Lodge prices start at £254,000.

When are they happening and how do I find them?

The open days are at Springfield Retreat, Tedburn St Mary, Exeter, Devon (EX6 6EW), on Saturday 11 September, and at Higher Charaton Park, in the Cornish village of Pensilva, four miles from Liskeard (PL14 5RW) on Sunday 12 September.

Both open days are from 10am to 4pm.

What are the homes like?

All of the homes are built by Devon manufacturer, Pathfinder Homes. They are built to residential standard, ensuring comfortable use of the lodge even in the colder months. Both parks offer buy-to-let investment opportunities.
