Omar Image launched

Omar has launched a new residential home called the Image. This 40 ft by 20 ft home is designed to offer exceptional luxury for a reasonable price – which of course will vary depending on location.

If you are looking for wide, open space, the Image is a home to see. From the hallway, with a seat on which to perch to take off boots, you have a vista of the spacious kitchen-dining area and the lounge beyond stretches out before you, a vision of cool greys that immediately ooze modernity.

It’s wide open, yet there are solid double doors at the entrance to the lounge, so you can treat this as a separate room if you wish. The kitchen is square, with units around three sides. Lower units are grey; upper cabinets are white, all with long slender brushed steel handles.

Appliances are an oven-grill, four-burner hob, washing machine and dishwasher.

The lounge runs the whole width of the home with three box-bay windows and a convex black glass coal effect fire that is backlit by a stunning, subtle blue shade.

Two Shaker-style coffee tables each have drawers, and one has a cabinet; very practical.

The Image is an ultra modern home yet the décor is softened by an embossed leaf subtle pattern in the silvery grey curtains.

Even its entrance door is notable - smart dark grey with an opaque glass centre portion.

Grey wall covering with a subtle vertical pattern and a very slight silvery sheen is a style statement of the Image. It continues into the bathroom, which has a tall towel warmer, and into the guest bedroom, where a sizeable box-bay window creates a window seat. A simple grey desk style dressing table with an upholstered stool suggests this room could double as a study

In the main bedroom, the colour palette gets an injection of soft green for the wall behind the bed. Two-tone bedside cabinets (white for the top drawer and grey for the lower drawer and top) are another testimony to the Image’s ultra-modern look.

A walk-through dressing area gives you two wardrobes en route to the shower room, with a towel warmer and big basin set into another cabinet that mixes white and grey styling
