More lodges for Yorkshire coast park

Sand le Mere Holiday Village on the East Yorkshire coast near Hornsea, has launched a new exclusive development of 19 lodges, offering year round ownership or holiday rental.

The lodges, which can accommodate up to eight people, are available for hire for only £235 for a three-night break or to buy from £79,999 for a 12-month season.

Andrew Howe, Chief Executive of Bridge Leisure, which runs the park, said: "As the new owners, we have been listening to our customers and have now begun a programme of major improvements, including staff training to ensure our guests receive first class service.

"We are very excited to be taking delivery of these brand new luxury lodges, part of a £330,000 investment we are making in our holiday hire fleet this year. We also have three new lodges available to buy, plus new caravans for sale and rental.

 "As well as making sure there's plenty for our customers to enjoy this year, we will soon be starting a major project to build new entertainment, leisure, food and bar facilities, ready for Spring 2012."

Sandle Mere Holiday Village, is set in a 100 acre area of coast and countryside, including 250m of beach frontage, plus private beach access. It has outdoor heated swimming pools, a fishing lake, a shop, launderette, inn and diner/takeaway, plus evening entertainment such as cabaret, discos and bingo.

Children's entertainment includes play areas, bouncy castle, toddler ppool, trampolines and crazy golf.

There are currently 425 holiday home owners, including 12 lodges with a 12-month license at a ground rent of £2,885pa. The park also has 15 residential park homes.
