Longer season and ‘rocketing’ holiday home sales at south coast holiday park

An East Sussex holiday home park has extended its season by four weeks.

Owners of holiday homes and lodges at Pevensey Bay Holiday Park, near Eastbourne, can now use their units for eleven-and-a-half months a year.

The park, owned by Park Holidays UK, will be open until mid-February, when it will close for two weeks. Park Holidays UK director, Tony Clish, says: “Since re-opening in July, holiday home sales have rocketed. People are clearly making a long-term commitment to holidays in Britain, and owning a holiday caravan or lodge gives you the freedom to enjoy breaks year-round

“A lot of our customers are first-time buyers who have previously rented a holiday home, and say that a staycation is so much more relaxed than a foreign holiday. This extension brings Pevensey Bay into line with the longer opening seasons we have gained for most of our other 30-plus coastal parks in southern England.”

Pevensey Bay has private beach access and a launching jetty for boats and jet skis.
